Introducing: Little Bit of Everything

Little Bit of Everything:

An ongoing series of, well, a little bit of everything.

When I think about the places I’ve been able to travel to, I enjoy thinking about the moments where I adjusted from quiet to outspoken. The conversations with others that brought me out of my comfort zone a bit and the kindness that was shared with me. From a shared meal, to a game of whiffle ball in the park, to a coffee run for the office, you never know who you’re gonna meet. This will be that I guess, and we’ll see where it goes. It’s time to showcase the community rolodex. Who knows the next person I talk to might be your neighbour. I’ve been wanting to have more chats with what people are up to for a while.

During the summer of 2019, I had just started as a design apprentice at Reebok. I was placed in a group of fellow interns from all over. Usually intern culture can be pretty ruthless. A type of, '“get in where you fit in” structure with a mix of “overly competitive passive aggression” all while battling for full time roles. But this was not the case with this group. I would later grow close to a unique group of warm-hearted individuals that I’m still honoured to call colleagues and friends today. They’re the inspiration behind these writings. I’ll update this section with conversations and stories every now and again. Should be a good time, a resource of stories and processes and yes, it’ll be a little bit of everything.
